Age of Consent

In the Western world we have 7 age of consent. Mexico City 12, Japan 13, Germany 14, Czech Republic 15, UK 16, Arizona 17, Florida 18.

A sexual activity, that in one Western democratic country is just as legitimate as picking your nose, are in another free Western democratic country punished as hard as armed bank robbery. There are indications, that age of consent laws are based more on taste than on honest scientific research.

But even the highest science fears researching the topic for fear, that the researcher will be fired and lose his career. But it is very important, that legislation is based solely on honest scientific research and not on taste. A research where absolutely nothing is taboo except lies, manipulation and fear of the Parliament of the Street.

The purpose of the age of consent law is, that it must protect us from harm, not that it must “protect” us from what Majority Dictatorship think is bad taste. Victimless crime should not be a crime.

In Japan the age of consent is 13 years old, and Japan has about 127,000,000 inhabitants. A very interesting question is: Is it in Japan a significant problem that the age of consent is 13 years? If the answer is “No!”, what is the objective reason that in Florida it is 18? Is it because we not only want to protect people from harm but also against bad taste?

Should people only be imprisoned for wickedness, or should people also be jailed because they have a bad taste?

How much unnecessary work could be spared in the police and judiciary, if the age of consent was lowered to 13 years, as it is in Japan?

Another interesting question is: What percentage of the 13-year-olds intercourse in Japan is abuse? How much different is that percentage from the 18-year-olds? How much higher must the percentage be for the 13-year-olds compared to the 18-year-olds, before it is such a big problem, that it needs a change in the age of consent laws? How much will the percentage of 13-year-olds decrease, if the age of consent is raised? If the age of consent is raised, how many more percent will then be in prison for illegal love? Crime without a victim.

But what is the correct age of consent? We do not know, even the highest science dare not researching the subject for fear of being fired and losing his career, and therefore determines the Parliament of the Street.
